Medical Device Start Up Clear Catheter Systems Raises $1.2 Million

Bend, OR—October 5, 2010—Clear Catheter Systems, Inc, developer of innovative
medical technologies for medical tube clearance, today announced it has closed an
equity financing round with total proceeds of $1.2 million. The financing was led by the
Oregon Angel Fund (OAF), joined by additional Oregon based angel investors. The
financing will support the clinical launch of the companyʼs lead product, the
PleuraFlow® Active Tube Clearance® System and continued technology development.
